Replacing Robot Vacuum Side Brushes

Side brushes sweep debris from edges and corners into the main brush path, and they wear down faster than most owners expect.

Signs they need replacing

Bent, missing, or visibly worn bristles reduce how much debris the brush sweeps in from edges. If corners are visibly dirtier than open floor after a clean, worn side brushes are a likely cause.

How often

A common range is every two to three months with regular use, sooner in homes with pets or a lot of hard-floor edge debris like sand or litter.

Replacing them

Most side brushes simply pop off a small spindle and the replacement clips on the same way — no tools needed on the vast majority of models.
