Troubleshooting
Robot Vacuum Losing Suction? Common Causes and Fixes
Gradually weaker suction is almost always a maintenance issue rather than a hardware failure. These are the usual suspects, in order of likelihood.
Clogged filter
A dirty filter is the most common cause of reduced suction. Clean or replace it first before assuming anything more serious is wrong.
Tangled brush roll
Hair and thread wrapped around the brush roll restrict its spin and reduce how well it agitates debris into the airflow path — clear it out per our brush-roll cleaning guide.
Blocked airway
Check the path from the brush roll to the bin for lodged debris, especially after picking up something larger like paper or string, which can partially block airflow.
