Connecting Your Robot Vacuum to Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi setup is where most robot vacuum first-timers get stuck, almost always for the same reason. Here is how to get it right the first time.
Use 2.4GHz, not 5GHz
Most robot vacuums only support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. If your router broadcasts a combined network name, you may need to temporarily split it into separate 2.4GHz and 5GHz names during setup, then reconnect afterward if you prefer a single name.
Keep the robot close to the router
Complete initial pairing within a few meters of the router, then let the robot roam — a weak signal during the pairing handshake is a common cause of setup failures.
If it will not connect
Restart the robot and your router, confirm you are entering the correct Wi-Fi password, and check the app for a firmware update — pairing bugs are often fixed in updates rather than requiring a factory reset.
