Using Selective Room Cleaning
Selective room cleaning is one of the most useful mapped-navigation features and one of the least used by new owners.
When it is useful
Spilled something in the kitchen, guests coming over, or just cleaned the living room and only need the hallway redone — selective cleaning avoids running a full-home cycle for a small job.
How to trigger it
In most apps, tap the specific room or rooms on the map and start a clean from there, rather than the default "clean everywhere" button.
Combine with suction level
A single messy room is a good candidate for a higher suction or a repeat-pass setting, since you are not trading off total runtime across the whole home.
